Report: Six owners to join Wednesday's talks

Six owners will join negotiations when players and owners resume face-to-face meetings on Wednesday. According to NFL Network's Albert Breer, Jerry Jones, Jerry Richardson, John Mara, Art Rooney, Robert Kraft and Clark Hunt will join commissioner Roger Goodell to represent the league.

Jeff Saturday, Sean Morey and Domonique Foxworth will be among the players joining NFLPA executive director DeMaurice Smith.

Since negotiations resumed in June, five owners present has generally been the norm for the league. All six owners expected to be present on Wednesday are on the league's labor committee. Reports indicate that the rookie wage scale is the biggest issue that has yet to be resolved.

Lawyers worked for about nine hours on Tuesday, continuing to work on language of a new Collective Bargaining Agreement on Tuesday.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the plaintiffs in the Brady vs. NFL case had a conference call in the late afternoon on Tuesday. It's not known what was said in that call.

An ESPN report on Monday pointed to the July 21 owners meeting as the date a new CBA could be ratified.
