Three Week 16 games blacked out

Three games in Week 16 will be blacked out on local television. The Bengals-Chargers game in Cincinnati, Buccaneers-Seahawks game in Tampa and Raiders-Colts game in Oakland all failed to sell out the required amount of tickets to avoid a blackout by Thursday's deadline.

This will be the 3-11 Bengals' fourth consecutive home game blacked out. They won their first game since Week Two last Sunday against the Browns. Earlier this season their 57-game sellout streak came to an end.

The turnaround Bucs have fading playoff hopes after an overtime loss last Sunday to the Lions, while the Seahawks are still alive in the NFC West.

The 7-7 Raiders are clinging to playoff hopes, and the Colts are playing for the AFC South crown. The three blackouts bring the 2010 total to 23. There were 22 blackouts in 2009.
