Browns fan sues NFL

Ken Lanci, a Browns fan and self-made millionaire, is suing the NFL and its teams over the current lockout, claiming it violated his contract to buy seats through his personal-seat license.

Lanci's lawsuit asked for damages of more than $25,000 from both the Browns and the league.

NFL spokesman Greg Aiello told The Associated Press, "NFL clubs all have announced refund policies to protect fans during a work stoppage. The best solution to Mr. Lanci's concern is for the union to return to the bargaining table and complete a labor agreement that will put the game back on the field where it belongs."

Lanci claims his PSL agreement has been breached by the lockout by keeping him from going to games and therefore devaluing his PSL.

The NFL locked out its players after the NFLPA decertified on March 11. A court will hear the players' injunction to stop the lockout on April 6.
