NFL, Westwood One reach multiyear deal

The NFL has reached a new multiyear agreement with Westwood One, which will continue the radio network's exclusive radio partnership with the league.

"We are proud to extend one of the strongest partnerships in sports broadcasting history — Westwood One and the National Football League," Westwood One president Rod Sherwood said. "America's most popular sport generates a huge audience that brings great value to Westwood One, our affiliates and our advertisers and reinforces Westwood One as the preeminent nationwide radio sports broadcaster."

Westwood One will continue to broadcast all NFL games, including the playoffs, Super Bowl and Pro Bowl.

The radio network has worked with the NFL for more than four decades and has been an exclusive partner since 1987.
